OMG!!!! A huge thanks to all who have donated their unwanted new and/or used shoes!!! The haul at the Fresno and Clovis Lucky Strike was great!!! Share this post with your friends and family in the area. Also, share with your neighbors with unsold shoes from their yard sales. Every little helps the youth bowling program of CCUSBC!!
Hello Bowlers and Followers!! Summertime is upon us - summer leagues have started and we love seeing the turnout for summer bowling fun. The youth of the Central California USBC would like to kick off the summer with a supportive fundraiser. We aren't asking for any money - JUST YOUR UNWANTED SHOES 🩴🥿👠👡👢👞👟🥾. New shoes...Used shoes...Men, Women, Kids... Sandals, Boots, Dress, Heels, Sneakers.
The proceeds of collecting the shoes will go towards the CCUSBC Youth Bowling program to help fund SMART scholarships, tournament entry fees, and Youth All-Star Awards. The youth bowlers of Central California are all about community involvement and growing the sport of bowling amongst the youth.
Drop boxes are located at Lucky Strike Fresno and Clovis. The goal is 2500 lbs of shoes. The donations will be collected and submitted to Funds2Org. The shoes become an economic lifeline for individuals and families living in developing nations. Due to systemic poverty, lack of education, and economic opportunity, Funds2Orgs works with individuals who create micro-businesses. They supply these micro-businesses with the shoe inventory they need to make a living.
Your help with this fundraiser will not only help those in less developed countries but will also help our youth bowlers right here in Fresno/Clovis.
