Fresno Arts Council is working with District 3 Councilmember Miguel Arias to select individual artists and/or artist collectives to paint a mural at Tupman Park. The final design will be painted on-site at Tupman Park located on California Avenue and Tupman Street in Fresno, CA 93706.
The mural dimensions are 85 ft. x 6 ft. and the budget for this project is $33,150. This project is open to experienced artists from California, age 18 or over. Local artists are preferred, but not required.
The proposed concepts and designs should reflect the diversity and unity of the neighborhood community through a vibrant and colorful composition. Artists are encouraged to incorporate imagery inspired by local agriculture, wildlife, and themes of belonging, family, and play.
