Friends, I’m so excited to share something deeply personal. After five years of listening, translating, and writing, I’m preparing to release The Hmong Spirit of Fearless Living—a memoir about my mom, Mee Thao.

It’s the story of her childhood in the mountains of Laos during the Vietnam War, her escape to Thailand, and her unbreakable strength as a mother.
