San Joaquin Valley Camera Club Council The goal of San Joaquin Camera Club Council is to encourage and develop Photography as a hobby in th Each club hosts one meeting a year.

The goal of San Joaquin Camera Club Council is to encourage and develop Photography as a hobby in the Central Valley area. The council consists of camera clubs from Bakersfield to Stockton. They are:
Selma Chroma, Fresno, Madera, Merced, Modesto, Taft, Stockton, Tracy and Bakersfield. All members of these camera clubs are automatically members of council, and are encouraged to participate in the monthly meetings and competitions. Council meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month, except July and August, unless otherwise posted. January is the business meeting and no competitions are scheduled. December is the Annual Awards Luncheon. The meetings are held at the Wyndham Garden Inn, 5090 E Clinton Avenue in Fresno near the airport. Council meetings begin at 10:00 a.m. and usually end around 2:00 p.m. A workshop may be scheduled for one month and usually a field trip for another. Meetings begin at 10:00 AM. However, members entering prints are to arrive by 9:30 AM to allow the Division Chairmen time to process the entries. Digitals are due the Thursday before competition. There is always a PSA qualified judge present to give commentary.
