The kNOw Youth Media's annual publication is printed and ready to be in your hands! This year, my young people took a look at Fresno and their surroundings and asked themselves, “What matters to me? What makes this person, place, or thing special to me?” With that in mind, our publication ‘The Little Things That Matter’ was born. 🎆

Please join us for PoderArte Fest on Saturday, April 6 at Arte Américas from 12-5:30 PM! It’s a free community event for all - come out, hang with us, and enjoy!

We’ll start the day with grounding by hosting cultural healing and wellness practices – yoga with Christine Rose and sound baths with Charah. That will be from 12-1:30 PM. Please bring your own yoga mat for the workshop.

And starting at 2 PM will be the celebration of the arts - music, dance, poetry, and art, all ending with a drag show. This showcases local talents from the Central Valley.

And to top it all off - FREE FOOD (with vegetarian options too!) We’ll also have a resource and vendor fair, games, and a kid’s corner.

We hope to see you there in community 🎉✨💛🎨

The kNOw Youth Media’s annual publication is now printed and ready to be in your hands. This year, the youth write about Belonging. They take a deep dive into the aspects that make our young people who they are. They share stories about their home lives and hobbies, love and politics, and more. Join us and celebrate the beauty of human connection and the diverse experiences that shape our world.

If you would like a physical copy, please fill out the request copy form: https://forms.gle/eQHSRy64ubd3vit76

Spanish copies will be available soon. We will rollout stories online in the coming weeks.

Thank you so much for your support. We hope you enjoy!

Fresno youth: last chance, the youth gambling survey closes November 12!

The kNOw Youth Media in partnership with Friday Night Live (FNL), a youth-led program creating positive changes, would like to learn about your experiences as young people about betting and gambling, by taking a short 3-minute survey.

The survey is completely anonymous and confidential. Your answers will go to the research team working with FNL and are incredibly valuable as we gather data on underage gambling from across the state, so please answer honestly – and answer based on your own experience.

The kNOw appreciates your participation in this survey as we continue our annual underage gambling prevention efforts throughout Fresno County. Link in bio!

Of course, ALL student debt should be eliminated. Predatory education pricing excludes many of us from even going to college in the first place. But at this moment, we got homies celebrating. We’ll still keep fighting for  , but for now, this gives a lot of us breathing room.
