"When I signed up for my marketing class this semester, I had no idea how much I would get out of it. My name is Kevin O’Neill, and along with my three teammates, Brian Le, Emma Mendez, and Isabella Holist, we spent the semester volunteering with Kings Water Alliance (KWA), a nonprofit dedicated to providing safe drinking water to rural Central Valley residents who rely on private wells for the water in their home. What started as a class requirement quickly became one of the most meaningful parts of our semester."

Today and tomorrow, we will be on campus at Reedley College for "Safari Days" which is a two-day resource fair full of great opportunities to connect with students, staff, and community partners!

Our team has the support of an amazing group of Fresno State marketing students that are volunteering with us as part of their course requirements. Right now, they are assisting us with promoting two surveys related to the Ripple Effect Initiative, an effort focused on understanding the needs of the water sector workforce, training and educational resources, and the perception of jobs in water from current students and job seekers.

We have partnered with Fresno State's California Water Institute and ACWA Foundation on a workforce survey focused on the future of the water industry.

We’re gathering input on workforce needs, training pathways, and educational opportunities to help support the next generation of water professionals in the Central Valley. The survey takes 10-15 minutes, and all responses are confidential.

If you work in the water sector, or support it through education, training, or workforce development, we would truly value your perspective by taking this survey:
