I just saw a post from Stephanie Wait regarding Toby and Stephanie's move to Beirut, Lebanon. Toby is now the president of International College in Beirut and I believe Stephanie is an instructor there. This school has an International Baccalaureate component along with 3 others. From American International School of Kuwait to now president of International College in Beirut. I would say that my friend Toby has reached a new milestone in his international career. Congratulations, Toby and Stephanie!!! The Adventure continues.

(Posted by Bob Reyes). Every year the Fresno High Alumni Association awards a Leadership scholarship in my name. The scholarship is for $1000 when the student enrolls in college. This year, thanks to the generosity of the Alumni Association, they allowed me to award 2 scholarships because both recipients were excellent leaders. This is Rebecca Rose who will be attending CSU Fresno next year to study home economics. She plans on becoming a teacher. I had the opportunity to interview Rebecca on Zoom a few weeks ago. Rebecca was ASB Treasurer, Color guard captain, a member of Leadership class, track for 4 years, and a Valedictorian. Rebecca also has a servant's heart evidenced by how well she took care of the Color guard unit. Rebecca also runs who own bakery from home. She already is a successful entrepreneur. I am very proud to award one of our scholarships to Rebecca Rose!!!

This is Bella Beltran who will be attending CSU Fresno next year to study to become a nurse. I had the opportunity to interview Bella on Zoom a few weeks ago. Bella was the Senior class secretary, a member of Leadership class, Student Advisory Board for the district, Link Crew, and was a member of the girls soccer team. She has a servant's heart and was truly a leader in the Leadership class. I am very proud to award one of our scholarships to Bella Beltran!!!

FUSD Trustee Carol Mills has requested that the following announcement is made to the Fresno High community: At the meeting on October 3rd, 2018, the Fresno Unified Board of Education will vote to name the varsity baseball field at Fresno High after longtime Coach Ken Papi. The Board Room is located at 2309 Tulare St. (corner of Tulare and M St.). Please help us to celebrate this great honor for Ken Papi by joining us at the board meeting. The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. with the official recognition occurring shortly after the start of the meeting. (I hope that many of you can join me at this meeting to honor Ken and his many years of commitment to Fresno High and especially to our baseball program.)

The first female from Fresno High School was just appointed to the United States Army's military academy at West Point.

These pictures are from the May 6th Fresno High Alumni Dinner held in front of the school on Echo. With 155 guests, this was one of our largest Alumni Dinners in our history. Dinner was catered by the Cosmopolitan and Fresno High alumnus Gary Lanfranco. Thanks to the entire Alumni Board for putting on this annual event.
