September was a busy month for our Los Angeles team ⭐️
We tabled at 3 college campuses in collaboration with their back to school wellness fairs & reproductive health specific events. 🫶🏼
We have provided Cal State LA, Fullerton, and Pomona college communities with over 125 condoms, 120 Plan B, 60 Narcan, & supplied 66 people with a 3 month supply of O-pill.

Reminder that you can pick up any of these resources from our headquarters or coordinate to pick them up in LA.

We are excited for the next few tabling days this fall. 🍂

Happy National Nonprofit Day!❤️

Today, we’re celebrating the power of community and organizations who work towards a more equitable future for all.

At Mighty, we not only provide resources such as contraception, tools for harm reduction, birth control, books and children's clothes, we also empower our community through education and support focused on sexual health, reproductive justice, parenting, and family planning.

Mighty specifically serves pregnant youth, young parents, and families in Fresno and Los Angeles, California, with a mission to disrupt cycles of trauma, promote healing, and help families thrive.

What began with a focus on patient advocacy has grown into a larger network of support, including doula services, care management, education, and community based resources.

Mighty wants to congratulate our two student-parent interns on graduating from and receiving their diplomas 👩🏽‍🎓👩🏽‍🎓 today! We are so proud 🙌🏾 of all the hard work you have done to finish school while juggling being a parent and learning to doula.

Diana has transitioned to one of our certified Full Spectrum Doulas and Lucero is a Mighty Mentored Doula on her way to become fully certified. We are incredibly proud of you both and honored to be in community with you. We loved to see the Mighty grad 🎓 cords draped around you.

This summer we are hosting our first Reel Life Society Session.

What’s Mighty’s Reel Life Society? Think of it as a book 📕 club but for film and movies 🎥 . We will gather for a mini teach-in, some discussion on the topic, and a screening of a relevant film.

How much are tickets?
Tickets to each session is $8+ ticketing fee per person. This includes the discussion, the screening, along with light snacks and refreshments. We will have popcorn 🍿 for y’all as well.

Is Mighty’s Reel Life Society for kids?
No, because of the topics and the films we are screening it’s not appropriate for children. We ask that everyone attending is 15+ years old. Because of the sensitive nature of some of the screenings we will not be hosting childcare. Think of this as a date night or time away from your kids.
