The Jakara Movement has partnered with the Fresno COVID-19 Equity Project in it’s dedication to serving the Punjabi community. Our group of Community Health Workers (CHW) will serve as COVID-19 contact tracers and are trained to provide quarantine/isolation support, preventative health education, and essential pandemic resources. mmunity through education, accurate information, prevention, contact tracing, and mutual aid, along with using culturally appropriate approaches to provide equal access for testing, social support, and healthcare services to underserved areas through connections with communities and organizations across the Fresno County.

ਜੈਕਾਰਾ ਮੂਵਮੈਂਟ ਨੇ ਫਰਿਜ਼ਨੋ ਕੋਵਿਡ -19 ਇਕਵਿਟੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਈਵਾਲੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਡੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਹੈਲਥ ਵਰਕਰਜ਼ ਦਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਕੋਵਿਡ-19 ਦੀ ਪੜਚੋਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਤੱਕ ਫੈਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਆਰੰਟੀਨ/ਇਕਾਂਤਵਾਸ ਮਦਦ, ਰੋਕਥਾਮ ਸਿਹਤ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਮਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
ਫਰਿਜ਼ਨੋ ਕੋਵਿਡ -19 ਇਕਵਿਟੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਸਮਾਜ/ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ, ਸਹੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ, ਰੋਕਥਾਮ, ਸੰਪਰਕ ਟਰੇਸਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਸੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। ਫਰਿਜ਼ਨੋ ਕਾਉਂਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਿਛੜੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੈਸਟਿੰਗ, ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਮਦਦ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
