Memorial Day services Frenchville VFW

Please note the changes this year for the Frenchville VFW Memorial Day services.

Services will be held at local cemeteries and the Post home on SUNDAY May 24. The honor Guard will start at Eden cemetery at Noon. They will continue to Gillingham, Congress Hill, Oak Hill, Karthaus Park, Keewaydin, Frenchville and conclude at 3PM with a service at the Post Home. A buffet meal will follow that everyone is invited to attend. Auxiliary members are asked to bring a covered dish.

Holidaysburg VA Home is in need of latch hook kits and model car kits for the residents. If you are able to donate please drop off to Frenchville VFW during open hours, we will be collecting for until June 1st. Thank you!!!

The Frenchville VFW is looking for wallet size photos of veterans and current military to decorate their Veterans tree at the Post. Please identify on the back who is in the photo. If you do not have a wallet size photo, ribbons will be available to add a name. Photos and names for ribbons can be dropped off at the VFW during regular business hours on the weekend.
