We will be holding our annual Reindeer Games at the Tri Kappa Holiday Bazaar this year! Stop in and shop while your kids (and kids at heart!) create Christmas ornaments, write letters to Santa and enjoy cookies and hot cocoa!

So many vendors and so many extra, fun activities!
Who's coming?!?!

We could not get a booth space at the Pumpkin Festival this year, so the Springs Valley Optimist Club will be selling our famous Kettle Corn at Fast Eddie's Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will be on the north side of the store. Thank you, Fast Eddie's, for allowing us to be there. Come and get some kettle corn and support the Optimist Club and our Clothe-a-Child Project.

Come and celebrate the 100th anniversary of my family's gardening on Sandhill. My grandmother, Bertha Hooten, began planting ornamental shrubs and perennials soon after moving to this property on October 1, 1924. To commemorate this, I will be hosting an open garden event on Saturday, September 28. There will be a plant exchange beginning at 10 AM. Everyone is welcome to come and visit, even if you do not have plants to trade. The open garden will continue until 5 PM. I hope to see many of you here at Sandhill Gardens.

This event is for ALL area school aged children. We were able to supply school essentials to over 1200 students last year and are expecting an even bigger turn out this year! We will have food trucks (Brother B's Homemade Ice cream, Bubble Tea Barn, Fistful of Tacos, Highway 150 Blues Cafe, and Sno Shack!), community partners (Boy Scouts of America, Lions Clubs International, Overdose Lifeline,Inc, Ireland Home Based Services, Spring Mill State Park, and MORE!), and prizes (FabFitFun box, gift certificates, Big Splash Adventure tickets, Louisville Bats tickets, Indiana Fever merch AND an Indianapolis Colts TEAM AUTOGRAPHED FOOTBALL!)! There will be barbers and hair stylists for hair cuts. There will be so many good things going on at this event!

I'm challenging each and every one of my friends to donate to this event. Here's my idea...reach out to your office, your friends, your church, your community organization, your family...whatever...and each of you put together some type of basket to donate to the event. I will be available to pick these up any day (before Thursday).

Some ideas:

Lunch box with reusable food containers, ice pack and water/drink bottle
Planner with accessories (pens, washi tape, stickers, etc.)
Self-care (Water bottle, journal, pens, think high school student)
Tech basket (Wireless earbuds, reusable notebook, etc.)
Snack basket
Movie Night
Car care

Let me know if you and your group(s) would like to donate!

If you would like to make a monetary donation, message me.
