We're honored to announce Rising Ember Foundation's first official Community Impact Event!
On Saturday, August 15, we'll be joining the incredible team at Nurtured Soul Wellness in partnership with The American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, as they support individuals impacted by cancer through a day of connection, encouragement, and compassion.
As part of this event, Rising Ember Foundation is donating Mindfulness Journals to be included in cancer survivor care bags. These journals are more than paper and ink. They are an invitation to pause, reflect, process, and find moments of peace throughout the healing journey.
We believe healing happens not only through medical care, but also through community, hope, and knowing that someone cares.

Today, we're honored to introduce ourselves as the founders of Rising Ember Foundation.
We believe that every person carries an ember within them, a spark of strength, hope, and possibility that remains, even after life's most difficult seasons. Sometimes that ember simply needs support, opportunity, and community to rise again.
Together, we created Rising Ember Foundation with one shared purpose:
To empower women to heal, build confidence, and rise into fulfilling lives through support, education, and community.

When someone has been tweezing or shaving every day, it makes sense to want relief quickly. At the same time, electrolysis is a process that asks for consistency, patience, and a plan that fits the person in front of us. Being honest about that is part of care. We can acknowledge the frustration of the daily routine while also creating realistic expectations for what permanent hair removal support may involve over time.

Not everyone is looking for a spa day or the newest skincare trend. Sometimes people are looking for relief from something they have been carrying quietly every morning.

For many clients, unwanted hair is not just a cosmetic concern. It can shape how they get ready, how they show up, and how they feel before they even leave the house.

This is why research and federal funding matter.

Earlier in my career, I worked in research for a private company, and it was work I truly loved. Although my own experience was in private industry, it showed me how much time, funding, patience, and teamwork are needed to move research forward.

Progress like this does not happen because of one study or one source of support. It is built over many years through the work of researchers, private companies, universities, federal agencies, non profit organizations, and the patients who participate in the clinical trials.

Promising results for pancreatic cancer are not the same as a cure, but they are meaningful. They remind us what can become possible when research continues to receive the support it needs.

Funding research means supporting the people doing the work and the patients and families hoping for better options.
Research requires time.
Research requires dedicated people.
And research requires sustained support
