🌧️🥾 A little liquid sunshine didn't stop our adventure! 🧭🌲

Our Find Your Way Adventure at Walsh Park was a success! We had a great turnout, six hands-on stations, lots of teamwork, and plenty of fun. Every participant who completed all six stations earned a safety whistle! 📣

Think your child would love adventures like these? Cub Scouts is open to boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade! From camping and hiking to making friends and learning new skills, there's always something exciting ahead!

Hello Pack 302 Families, Troop 339 and New Scouting Families!
Our big Find Your Way Adventure is this Sunday, October 11, at 3:30 PM, and we are ready for an adventure, RAIN OR SHINE! 🌧️🧭

The forecast is calling for a good chance of rain, so we have a plan for whatever Mother Nature brings our way!

📍 WHERE ARE WE MEETING?

🌲 If we have light rain: We will meet at Walsh Park and wear our rain gear. Please drive slowly when entering the park and meet us at the shelter house. We will begin and end the event there.

⛈️ If we have heavy rain: We will relocate to Grace Lutheran Church at 705 W. State Street, Fremont.

When arriving at Grace Lutheran Church, use the Baker/Wood Street entrance. Head down the stairs immediately to your left, then follow the hallway to the dining area. We will begin and end the event in the dining hall.

We will make the final decision by 1:00 PM Sunday. Please watch your email and our Pack 302 page for an update confirming our location.

⏰ ARRIVAL TIME: 3:20 PM

Our adventure begins promptly at 3:30 PM. Please arrive 10 minutes early so everyone is checked in and ready to go!

🎒 WHAT SHOULD YOUR SCOUT BRING?

A water bottle

A raincoat or poncho

Rain boots or waterproof shoes

A sense of adventure! 🥾

Please dress for the weather and plan to enjoy the outdoors if conditions allow.

We want to extend a huge thank-you to Troop 339 of Fremont! Several of their Scouts are stepping up to help run our adventure stations this Sunday. We are incredibly grateful for their time, enthusiasm, and dedication to helping Pack 302 give our Scouts and visiting families a great experience. Supporting one another is what Scouting is all about!

We are looking forward to an afternoon of maps, challenges, exploration, and fun! Whether you are already part of Pack 302 or joining us to see what Cub Scouts is all about, we can't wait to see you there.

Huge thank you to these scouts for helping with the park clean up! They collected 1 full 35 gallon bag of trash collectively.
The weirdest find, a full chocolate bar.
Lots of grommets around the ball field.
Lots sucker sticks at the playground.

All in all the park is cleaned up and ready for summer fun!
