Woof Animal Rescue, located in Fremont CA is a volunteer-based non-profit organization in Northern California dedicated to rescuing dogs from high kill shelters and finding them well-matched homes. The Humane Society of the United Sates estimates that 6-8 million cats and dogs enter a shelter each year and 3-4 million cats and dogs are euthanized by shelters each year. - Adoption of animals rather than purchasing an animal from breeder for profit
- Responsibly placing these animals in loving permanent homes
- Finding the perfect match for both human and animal, rather than placing animals in any homes
- Educating people and spreading the word about the importance of pet sterilization to control over population of animals
- Educating people about responsible pet ownership, positive behavior training, good nutrition and the humane treatment of animals

Mitsy is a spunky, cuddly and playful little powerhouse. At just about 6 pounds, she is lots of dog in a small fluffy package. Drop an ice cube on the floor and she turns into a world class soccer player. Introduce her to a friendly dog and she is a paw-waving ballerina. When she needs downtime, she snuggles into the nearest bed and chews quietly on a toy.

Mitsy is learning to walk on a leash and to potty outside. She is crate trained and pad trained, but she is picking up new skills quickly as she follows her foster siblings. She is food and affection oriented and determined to please her humans.

An ideal home for Mitsy would include another young and playful dog. Although Mitsy holds her own with much larger foster siblings, she is best suited for a medium to small companion dog. She is great company for a household that does not usually take long walks with dogs and spends a bit of time reading and watching TV. She is fearful on occasion and would be happiest in a fairly quiet home with older children or just adults.

If you are looking for a small but mighty companion who is snuggly and playful, Mitsy is your girl.

Hi, my name is Alan Jackson, and I am a petite, handsome, neutered male, Pittie Mix.
· I am the sweetest boy, 1 year old, 45-pound puppy with lots of love to give!
· I play well with the other puppies in my playgroup, and I love my toys
· I am intelligent, listen well, and am very trainable
· I walk well on a leash and am easily redirected.
· I make eye contact with my foster mom and listen to her guidance.
· I am respectful of all dogs, and I smile at everyone I meet.
· I display medium energy, love going for car rides, and long walks.
· I will engage with you in playful activities, but I am also just as happy to hang out at home with my humans.
· I don’t bark much unless I sense a threat
· I sleep soundly at night and will always wake up happy to see you!
