Visited the Window of Hope orphanage in Karte Parwan neighborhood. Such friendly, lively kids who suffer from disabilities or the tragic result of war-wounds. They seem very well taken care of and always enjoy having visitors. I will definitely have to visit them more often.

I had the privilege of visiting a school for orphans, called Afghan School, in Khushal Khan Mena area. This is the second shift of students who study in the afternoon due to limited space. The teachers were very humble and down-to-earth and take great pride in their efforts to help educate the new generation. There are 4 female orphans and 46 male orphans in this session with a total of 100 students when you count the morning shift classes. Very clean, organized, but in desperate need of additional assistance as you can see a roof is in need to cover this class. Blessed to have been able to interact with these kids.

The aim of my studies is to support my country and family for having better life and normal environment.”
