1- Support Deaf Ed in California! Help pass Senate Bill 1315. What is is and how can we make it happen?
2- What is SB1316? SB1316 Would guarantee that all of California’s State Special
Schools would receive pay comparable to staff across their region with equivalent positions in public school settings.
3- What is SB1316? These changes are crucial to providing essential services to
communities across Calfiornia and keep the hub of Deaf culture thriving.
4- What is SB1316? SB1316 is headed to Senate Appropriations Committee, where legislators will evaluate the cost of the bill.
5- What can you do? Contact members of the committee to explain to them
the immeasurable value the California Schools for the Deaf and Blind have and the urgent need to address these pay gaps.

a clear ask for the legislature to vote AYE, or yes, on SB1316 in the Appropriations Committee.
