Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) is continuing to grow in Spain, with almost 154,000 lines added in June to hit 7.6 million customers, according to figures from the country's regulating body CNMC (Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia).

FTTH already represents 50 per cent of the total broadband fixed market in the country with 14.57 million.

Asia is set to become world's largest 5G region by 2025, according to the GSMA.

Asia Pacific will become the world’s largest 5G region by 2025, led by pioneering 5G markets such as Australia, China, Japan and South Korea, according to a report from the GSMA.
