Last month, GLCAP hosted a training for Fremont/local management, including every department head, department foreman, and command staff from the Police Department. With many newer and younger employees stepping into management roles, this training was designed to help build confident, capable leaders for our community.
The training was held over two 2.5-hour sessions and covered a range of essential leadership topics. The first session focused on Entrepreneurial & Servant leadership, Accountability, and Public Engagement. The second session expanded into Leading Teams, Decision-Making, Navigating Change, Internal Communication, and Practical but Innovative Problem-Solving.
These sessions were thoughtfully developed in collaboration with the Mayor and Safety-Service Director to ensure they directly support the evolving needs of our workforce.
