Join the Michigan 4-H Teens as Teachers Healthy Living Program for our next hands-on youth leadership training!

📅 Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
📍 Location: Bowers School Farm – Bloomfield Hills, MI
💵 Cost: FREE! (No prior 4-H experience required)

THIS SUNDAY, 10/11, we'll be at Kropscott Farm Environmental Center from 1pm-4pm for their annual Fall Festival! The first 50 Newaygo County 4-H members (currently registered for the 26-27 program year) will get 10 free activity tickets on us! Additional tickets are available onsite for purchase.

Check out this cool opportunity our Muskegon friends have opened to Newaygo County 4-H!
Wilderness Survival Day! Come join us on October 10th from 9AM-3PM for a day of adventure. Youth (ages 9 and up) will get to spend the day outdoors learning about fire building, shelter building, cook a meal over a fire, learn how to use a compass, foraging basics, and more.
If you are interested in registering for this event, enroll in 4-H (If you do not belong to a 4-H club, you can enroll under "General 4-H Experience") and register for Wilderness Survival Day under the "Events" tab: https://www.facebook.com/share/1CFrG8c9ke/

🗣️ Attention 4-H volunteers and teen leaders! Share your passion and skills with 4-H volunteers, teen leaders, and youth members throughout the state! We are seeking workshop leaders to teach a session at the 4-H Spark and Share Summit in Frankenmuth on March 13, 2027.

Session Proposals are due October 23rd and can be submitted at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeqfgcKej4a6_rB24xbYXRamo_oAycvdYQM2QInEAhj4bUuRw/viewform .

Selected proposals will be notified in mid-November.

🍂🍁 4-H FALL KICK-OFF EVENT 🍁🍂
We’re back again, kicking off our new 4-H year with our friends at Kropscott Farm Environmental Center!

Join us Sunday, October 11 from 1-4pm at Kropscott’s Annual Fall Festival! Free entry comes with 1 activity ticket and 1 donut per person! The first 50 4-H members will receive an additional 10 free tickets, but you must sign in at the 4-H tent and be currently enrolled for the 2026-2027 4-H year (see our pinned post for enrollment instructions).

Additional tickets are available onsite for purchase. $1 per ticket or 10 for $5. Tickets can be used for activities, concessions, and raffle items. This special 4-H event is designed for kids and parents to enjoy together. Come on out and sample a little of what Kropscott’s 80 acres has to offer!
