Local 1689 retiree, Kevin Smith, recently accomplished an awesome feat and reached out to share the following:

“I recently dedicated my John Muir Trail journey to Anthony Ganzler. I just finished with a summit of Mt. Whitney on Saturday. I lost 12 1/2 lbs. in 3 weeks on trail. RIP Ganzler. He will never be forgotten.”

Congratulations to you on this incredible accomplishment, Kevin! Thank you for taking the time to honor Anthony and to bring his spirit and memory along for the journey. You make us proud.
