A special thank you, yes, AGAIN, to the amazing Michael Walter! 🎉

Michael has once again generously given his time and talents to help us get our new One Child space ready. This time, he removed the old foot-pedal faucets and installed our new faucets in the bathrooms, helped us remove a filtration system, and came back to reinstall the toilets after our new floors were installed.

Yep, he’s amazing! We are so grateful for Michael’s continued kindness, generosity, and willingness to always lend a hand. Thank you, Michael, for all you do for One Child! ❤️

A very special thank you to our sister nonprofit, HERS, and Tina Fernandez, for the generous donation of furniture for One Child’s new space! We are so grateful to Lisa Stambaugh for connecting us and making this wonderful gift possible. We also thank Lorena for her help with the move of the furniture.
The furniture has found a perfect new home and will be put to very good use as we welcome children and families into our new space. We love seeing community nonprofits support one another, and we are so thankful for their kindness and generosity!

A warm thank you to the Niles Rotary Club for their generous $4,000 grant to One Child!

We are incredibly grateful for their continued support over the years and their commitment to helping children and families in our community. This grant comes at a particularly exciting time as One Child celebrates our 25th year and prepares to move into our new home.

It was an honor to attend President Dana Jones’ final meeting and celebrate the club’s accomplishments. We also look forward to working with incoming President Sam Forbes in the year ahead.

A heartfelt thank you to Michael Walter for generously sharing his time, talents, and expertise as we continue transforming One Child’s new space.

Michael has already removed two showers from our dressing rooms to create a safer environment for the children we serve. He has also removed a scrub sink, an eyewash station, and cabinetry, and will be returning to and cap the plumbing.

These behind-the-scenes projects make an enormous difference, and we are so grateful for Michael’s willingness to roll up his sleeves and help create a safe and welcoming space for the children and families we serve. 🏡🔨🔩❤️

We are so grateful to local interior designer Anna Jacoby for generously sharing her time, talent, and creativity with One Child. Her thoughtful vision and beautiful design for our new space have been such a gift. More than that, her kindness, generosity, and caring heart has meant so much to us. Thank you, Anna, for helping us create a warm and welcoming place where children and families will feel valued and loved. We are truly blessed by your friendship and your generosity. ❤️
