This deer kill occurred OFF trail, south of Metz on our landowner funded trail system. The local team of wardens agree that this deer was purposely targeted by a snowmobiler. Local wardens and law enforcement have committed to step up patrol in our area and their presence is already being noticed even with the recent closing of trails. Riding off trail and riding on closed trails are key causes to trail closures.

Stay ON trail or stay home! No exceptions. Don't be the one that ruins it for the rest of us!

If you have any information regarding this terrible incident please contact the Wisconsin DNR Tip Hotline at 1-800-TIP-WDNR (1-800-847-9367).
