Comparing views Then and Now of this home from the 1874 Combination Atlas Map of Sandusky County, the Vintage Aerial website in 1971, and a current view reveals its history. The 1874 Atlas identifies it as RES. OF HENRY HERMAN. SEC. 20. WOODVILLE TP. SANDUSKY CO. OHIO. The location highlighted on the 1874 Woodville Township map is now listed as 1654 W Main St/W US 20. The large barn was removed after US 20 was widened in 2009.

Comparing views Then and Now of this home from the 1874 Combination Atlas Map of Sandusky County, the VintageAerial website in 1984 and a recent view, mostly obscured by foliage. The 1874 Atlas captions it RES. OF HERMAN MEYER. SEC. 33. WOODVILLE TP. SANDUSKY CO. OHIO. The location on the 1874 Woodville Township map is highlighted and is currently addressed 590 Borcherding Rd/CR 48.

Show and Share meeting for Feb 8, 2026 at 2PM. Bring an item that your ancestor made or used (or a photo thereof) and tell us about the person and their item. We meet at the Sandusky Township House, next to the Fire Station, 2207 Oak Harbor Rd (N SR 19), north of Fremont.
Note: Meetings are canceled when the Sandusky County Sheriff issues a Level 2 or higher Snow Emergency. Use your own judgment for Level 1 considering how well snow and ice is cleared from around the building.
