We took one of our favorite Rotary traditions, added some fast cars, and discovered a whole new recipe for fun! 🌶️ 🚗

That’s Rotary. We value traditions, but we’re always ready for a new idea, a new connection and another reason to enjoy the friendships we’ve built while serving our community.

It’s never too early for a little Christmas spirit! 🎄🎅

Our Rotary speaker this week was Alan Binger of Hidden Pines Christmas Tree Farm in Clyde, who shared the story of how a lifelong love of Christmas trees has blossomed into a successful business in retirement.

Alan must know a thing or two about picking a great tree, because his entry at the Ohio State Fair was crowned Grand Champion! 🏆🌲 That honor means one of his trees will be heading to Governor Mike DeWine’s residence for the holiday season.

What a great story of turning a passion into something special. Thanks, Alan, for a fun and fascinating program, and congratulations on this well-deserved honor!

Celebrating those who care for our community! 🚑❤️

Fremont Rotarians were proud to join other community leaders and first responders today for the Chamber of Commerce of Sandusky County ribbon cutting of the new Sandusky County EMS station. We’re grateful for the people who answer the call when our community needs them most, and excited to see this new facility supporting the important work they do every day.

🌧️🚤 A little rain couldn't sink the fun! 🚤🌧️

Last night's Rotary River Cruise Social proved one thing: when great people come together, even Mother Nature can't spoil the adventure.

Our first-ever Sandusky River Cruise was a tremendous success! While we encountered more than a few raindrops along the way, we also experienced the beauty of the river in a way that few get to enjoy. From incredible views and wildlife sightings to laughter, fellowship, and memorable conversations, it was an evening we won't soon forget.

Before setting sail, members gathered at the Fremont Yacht Club where Rotarian Dave Amarante earned tips to donate to the club, and Rotarian Chris Teague served up some outstanding pulled pork alongside delicious sides provided by FriendShip Kitchen. The food was fantastic, the fellowship was even better, and the adventure that followed made for a truly memorable evening.

A special thank you goes to our amazing boat captains who bravely navigated the rain and shared their boats, their expertise, and their love of the Sandusky River with our club:
