The items in our store do not have a price, we just ask that individuals give as they are able. That does not make items "free". They do come at a cost. Our store is run 100% by volunteers and our only costs are operational ones such as rent and utilities. When we give what we can, God can grow and multiply it! Community Closet is for EVERYONE! We are here to help when you are in crisis and your n

eed is great. We are still here when you desire to be a little more frugal with your spending or you want to help others by doing your shopping at our store. How can shopping at Community Closet help others? When you shop here and put in a donation of what you might expect to pay at a yard sale or thrift store it helps keep our store open and our lights on. It also provides clothing at low or no cost for those who are in financially difficult situations.

We have been overly blessed! We are behind in sorting donations. If you have more than a few boxes or bags please call or message us to schedule an appointment.

Please help by making sure donations are clean, free of holes, and stains. No missing parts, no mold, and not broken.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, stop in anytime we are open! Many hands make light work!

šŸ“£ An Update on Our Cleanliness Standards at Community Closet

We want to take a moment to address a recent rumor regarding bugs at Community Closet. Our mission has always been to provide high-quality, safe clothing for our neighbors, and we want to assure you that we have never experienced an infestation of any kind.

To ensure maximum cleanliness, we follow a strict multi-step safety process:

- Immediate Separation: All incoming donations are immediately sealed into separate bags.

-Preventative Treatment: Items undergo a proactive, preventative treatment for potential pests before they ever touch our clothing racks.

-Facility Control: As an added layer of safety, the recreation center provides professional, routine pest control services for our entire space.

While we cannot control what might accidentally enter the store on a shopper's own clothing, we work tirelessly to provide our community with quality items. As a standard best practice for all secondhand shopping, we always recommend washing your items before wearing them.
