WOW, WOW, WOW! We are thrilled to share that our Director has been named a 2026 Women Who Wow Us honoree. This recognizes the incredible women who make a difference across Northeast Wisconsin. We are proud to see her unwavering dedication and leadership honored in this way! Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement!

😎 We can't believe it's August already! The final day of our Summer Reading Program has passed and all the numbers are tallied... ✍

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the program and events, making this summer so much fun! Whether you adopted your own tiny dino, met a real-life dinosaur (Zoom the emu), learned more about them through books, or made fun crafts, or all of the above - we are so happy you did! 🎉

🎁 Prize winners were contacted this Monday (Aug. 3), so please check your voicemails if you expected to potentially receive a call. With almost 500 (!!!) tickets entered and only 30 prizes available, not all participants will get one, but we hope you will try again next year! 😉

Exciting changes coming to our Infosoup catalog and mobile app soon! While this won't look too different for patrons (except maybe a bit better), it will significantly improve operations on our end. We will be open as usual, so please stop by if you have any issues or questions!

The new InfoSoup catalog launches August 19!

Here's what to expect during the transition, including important dates for holds, the current app, and catalog access.

Planning to place a hold? Holds can be placed through August 6, but holds placed July 28–August 6 will be suspended until the new catalog launches

We're thrilled that so many of you came to hang out with Zoom the emu (but really a dinosaur - check out his feet!) 😁 Our feathered friend enjoyed meeting everyone, and we hope you did too! 🪶

If you missed him on Saturday, Zoom will also be in the petting zoo at the Waupaca County Fair. 🎪

Going along with our summer theme of Unearth A Story, we have dinosaurs, caves, fossils, and of course lots of books, movies, and events!

🎫 The program ends August 1st, but you can still sign up before then for a chance to win a prize! 1 hour of reading = 1 ticket to put in a prize of your choice.

🎁 There are 30 amazing options to choose from. The winners will be contacted by library staff the week of August 3rd.

Behold! The collective enthusiasm to master one note before leaving this morning.

Thank you to our storytime guest, the Attic Trunk Show, for the interactive tales and introducing the children to a new instrument. Libraries are a place of learning—sometimes that learning is repetitively blowing as hard as you can into a recorder, just to be sure. ❤️😂
