Our joyful task during Christmas, and all year long, is to reiterate the angels proclamation, “Glory to God on high and peace on Earth”. This message was issued 2000 years ago during one of the most cruel Roman occupations. Let’s do the same and NOT politicize the pulpit and pollute God’s message. God remains higher than any political struggles we witness in this world or personal circumstances we face in our lives. God is our hope, reassurance, comforter, and genuine peace.

I wrote this a while back and still relevant because nothing has changed.

Don’t you DARE call me a brother! I refuse to be your brother when your ideology is more sacred to you than mercy! You’ve brutalized and r***d the Word of God to accommodate your idolized and corrupted principles. It’s blasphemy and grieves God’s Spirit.
God loves the SOUL, not the SOIL. The Word of God says, “For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings”
(Hosea 6:6). Allow me to interpret this for you. God desires love from you to ALL His people, including Palestinians, and to tell all people about His love for them. That’s how I read God’s Word; not interpreting as end time eschatology, but rather, using the time we have to share about His love and mercy to ALL PEOPLE!
