Washington High School PTSA Children learn more and have better lives when parents, school staff, students and the community work together.

WHS PTSA is working to bring these groups together to provide programs and resources that benefit WHS students and families. Dear WHS Community,

Thank you for your continued support of Washington PTSA this school year. With your donations and volunteer time we ran successful events through out the year.

There are pictures from the few last events.

In February, we had a presentation with YEPC and Tell My Story to do a presentation of importance of Mental Health.

In May, we provided 4 scholarships to graduating seniors. WHS PTSA also provided cake and other refreshments to more than 350 people at the end of the awards ceremony.

2 - $500 for PTSA members
2 - $ 250 for non-PTSA students

and In June, we celebrated Founders' Day to recognize our wonderful teachers, staff and volunteers. Following staff/teachers/volunteers were awarded.

We are a non profit organization and we depend on your memberships and donations. We do not have any fundraiser and membership is the only way to fund all the programs. Hopefully, we will be able to hit our membership goal for next year. Keep an eye for the maze day packet for more information. Memberships for next year open on July 1, 2026.

WHS PTSA recently celebrated the participants and winners of Reflections this year.

We received 21 wonderful submissions! 🌟

Each entry beautifully reflects creativity, imagination, and sense of belonging. It’s inspiring to see how they’ve expressed their thoughts and emotions through art, writing, music, dance, and film.

Our Huskies have demonstrated exceptional effort and creativity in their Reflections projects. Their work reflects a high level of dedication, thoughtfulness, and originality. Each child has performed commendably, and we are proud of their accomplishments.

National PTA Reflections 2025-26

It is that time again for your children to start working on their Reflections submissions for 2025-2026.
Reflections is a student recognition program run by National PTA since 1969. This program is a platform that enables children to not only showcase their creative talents but also express their views about the world around them and tap into their critical thinking skills.
Reflections has 6 art categories: Visual Arts (painting, drawing and also 3-D artwork such as sculpture), Photography, Literature, Film Production, Dance Choreography and Music Composition across the below mentioned divisions.
Divisions:

Primary: Pre-K to Grade 2
Intermediate: Grade 3 to Grade 5
Middle School: Grades 6 to 8
High School: Grade 9 to 12

The 2025-2026 theme is “I belong!”
