The Lytton Center for History and the Public Good will soon welcome our final guest speaker for the semester. Please plan to join us!

On Wednesday, May 6 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm in Building 1, Room 1302, we will host Dr. Sharika Thiranagama, Associate Professor of Anthropology at Stanford University, for the talk “What is Neighborliness in an Unequal Society?”

This talk is based on portions of Dr. Thiranagama’s newest book, The Monster in Your Path: The Private Life of Caste in India, which centers Dalit women and identifies how new forms of caste disparities have moved from public to private spaces.
