Troop 1 was proud to be a part of the town Memorial Day celebration again this year. Our scouts are fewer in number so the pledge could not be heard by all and we apologize! Troop 1 is also proud of Ethan for reading America’s Answer and Paul for reading the Gettysburg Address.

Daniel Webster Council's Klondike Derby in Raymond, NH. Local Boy Scout Troop 1, Fremont NH tested their outdoor skills, teamwork and leadership against other area Scout troops. Some friendly competition as they moved from station to station for different skills. Normally the sleds are on skis but this year due to the warm weather the kids re-outfitted their sled with wheels.

January 2024 - AMC Lonesome Lake trip done! Sometimes snowy, sometimes really cold, but always epic! Boy Scout Troop 1, Fremont NH had a great trip away Sunday into Monday. It's about a one mile hike in, and then they stay overnight in the AMC huts. They cook and spend time in the woodstove-heated main cabin, and at night, their cabin is not so warm! A few of the kids even were cooking outside when the squalls came in - love it! Such a good time and adventure
