SPF Cancer Research(SPFCR) is an nonprofit organization with an objective to raise awareness and research about the prevalence of skin cancer and to provide support to those affected. We aim to reduce the impact of radiation on impoverish communities by donating protective products. Our ultimate goal is to promote a world where skin cancer is no longer a threat.

May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about the dangers of skin cancer and how to prevent it. Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in the U.S., but it’s also one of the most preventable.

🌤 Protect Your Skin

Use broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher)

Wear hats, sunglasses, and protective clothing

Avoid tanning beds

Stay in the shade during peak sun hours (10am–4pm)

🩺 Check Your Skin

Do regular self-checks for new or changing spots

See a dermatologist for annual skin exams
