UPDATE 6/23/26: Most importantly another group has stepped up and decided to help this kitten. She will have an amputation and be placed for adoption when fully healthy. So, that is good news. The bad news is that WE could not organize and help this kitten. At the time I am loading this I have had 12 likes, 2 comments and 4 shares from 1,100 followers. Either people are not seeing our posts, or people no longer support what we are doing. Either way that is a disappointing result. No funds were raised by us whatsoever, so no one has to worry about funds being directed elsewhere.
Hello, everyone! I am happy to be posting to be a part of rescue on Facebook again. It has been a tough year personally with the loss of my brother, the loss of some personal cats, personal injuries and my husbandās huge decrease in income. We have found ourselves struggling financially to keep the rescue afloat and motivationally challenged and time restricted to post as often as I need to since I now work 2 jobs. We do not hav a foster system. I have my immediate family of 3 and that is it. Anyway, adoption posts to come, but I wanted to make a please for donations for funds to help a little kitten that was found at a horse barn in Union County, Ohio where he/she was stepped on by a horse and now has a broken leg. Vet visits for these kinds of emergencies are quite expensive and multiple follow up visits to monitor healing are expected.
