On behalf of everyone at the Demi John Volunteer Fire Department, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated the 4th of July with us at Capt. Mark’s Bastrop Marina!
Whether you stopped by for a hot dog, entered one of our raffles, played games with your family, or simply came by to say hello, your support means more to us than you know.
A special thank you goes out to our volunteers who gave their time to make the event possible, our generous sponsor Capt Mark for the shrimp boil and pavilion, and the island ladies for the sweet treats! Events like these wouldn’t happen without all of you.
As an all-volunteer department, community support is what allows us to continue serving the Demi John area. Every fundraiser, donation, and word of encouragement helps us provide the equipment, training, and resources needed to answer the call when our neighbors need us most.
We are proud to serve this incredible community and are grateful for the continued support you show us year after year.
