💧 Water Donation Drive 💧
As we prepare for our Cooling Stations and the upcoming Hurricane Season, we are in need of factory-sealed water donations!
We welcome:
✅ Individual bottles of water (any size)
✅ Gallon-sized water jugs
✅ 5-gallon water bottles (especially helpful for the shelter during summer storms!)
Every donation helps us serve our community during extreme heat and emergency weather events.
Thank you for helping us stay prepared and care for our neighbors this summer! 💙

National Donut Day is this Friday, June 5!
More than a century ago, the “Donut Lassies” entered WWI huts with hands full of flour, sugar, and the honest intention to lift the spirits of the soldiers who were far from home. Against all odds, that small act of kindness made a lasting difference.

On June 7, 1938, The Salvation Army first celebrated National Doughnut Day as a fundraiser during the Great Depression to support families facing hardship. It was a wonderful act that mirrored and honored the legacy of those courageous women.

Today, at The Salvation Army, we carry this purpose forward each day, meeting local needs with love and compassion through our food pantries 🍽️, food parcel services 📦, and mobile food pantries 🚚.

A simple recipe in action.
