Neighborhood Urban Outreach Founded on the basis that awareness on the subject of sickle cell anemia needs to be raised Neighborhood Urban Outreach is a non-profit charitable corporation.

Organized in September 2003 by Earl Lewis Jr., A Sickle Cell patient,this agency seeks to:

1: Inform and educate about Sickle Cell disease/ trait
2: Support legislation on state and national levels that are beneficial to the Sickle Cell program
3: Actively solicit funding for the Neighborhood based Outreach Program
