During the month of May 2026 the officers of the Freemansburg Police Department initiated, responded to, or were dispatched to, 326 calls for service. These calls for service resulted in;

23 incidents involving a fight, a disturbance, or domestic violence.
11 incidents involving a welfare check or mental health call.
6 Agency Assists.
98 Traffic Stops. With heavy enforcement in the Main Street area.
24 EMS calls.
10 animal complaints.
3 incidents involving harassment.
2 incidents involving fraud.
10 parking issues were addressed.
11 incidents involving suspicious activity.
3 motor vehicle accidents.
5 reckless driver complaints.

May also saw the conclusion of an investigation which led to criminal charges for theft.

During the month of April 2026 the officers of the Freemansburg Police Department initiated, responded to, or were dispatched to, 257 calls for service. These calls for service resulted in;

13 incidents involving a fight, a disturbance, or domestic violence.

2 arrest warrants were served.
8 Agency Assists.
47 Traffic Stops.
27 EMS calls.
3 incidents involving harassment.
5 Borough ordinances were enforced.
10 parking issues were addressed
7 incidents involving suspicious activity.
7 Animal complaints.
1 Stolen motorcycle
April saw the daytime arrest of a motorist suspected of driving under the influence.
April also saw the conclusion of an investigation for a motor vehicle accident involving injuries. This investigation led to four Felony charges.

Tonight we rescued two baby squirrels whose home was destroyed when a rotted tree fell across the road. We checked the area, but mom was nowhere to be found. Both squirrels had mites and one of the babies appeared to have a broken leg. Both were brought to Pocono Animal Rescue for further treatment.
