A Friendly Reminder from Queen-Bee Pantry today was an amazing first day we are working out some kinks.
Queen-Bee Pantry is a supplemental food pantry, not a grocery store. Our goal is to help stretch household food supplies and provide support to our neighbors when they need it most. Because we rely entirely on donations, the amount and variety of food available will vary from week to week.
We want our community to understand that we are a nonprofit organization that operates through the generosity of local donors, businesses, fundraisers, and volunteers. We do not receive government food deliveries, and we are not funded by government grants. Everything we provide comes from the support of our community.
In addition to providing food assistance, we must also cover rent, utilities, insurance, supplies, and other operating expenses to keep our doors open. These costs are paid through donations and fundraising efforts.
We kindly ask that those who are able consider leaving a donation when they visit the pantry. Even a small contribution can help us purchase food, maintain our facility, and continue serving our community. A monetary Donations are required each time to receive assistance, but every dollar helps keep Queen-Bee Pantry running and allows us to help more families in need.
While we do our very best to help everyone who comes through our doors, we may not always have specific items or enough food to meet every request. We ask for patience, understanding, and kindness as we continue to serve as many families as possible with the resources available.
We are incredibly grateful for every person who donates, volunteers, shares our posts, attends our fundraisers, and supports our mission. Your generosity makes it possible for Queen-Bee Pantry to continue helping our neighbors in need.
Thank you for being part of a community that cares for one another. Together, we can continue making a difference.
