Reminder…our meeting tomorrow night will be held at Windermere in Freeland. 5pm Social and meeting begins right at 5:30 and ends at 6:30.

Important Notice - Change of Meeting venue for Monday, June 15th. We are not able to meet at China City in Freeland, as we normally do because of a private event. We have changed our meeting location for that evening to Windermere Real Estate in Freeland (address - 5531 Freeland Ave, Freeland). Derek Hoshiko joined our meeting to introduce himself and tell his remarkable story of self discovery and climate advocacy.

Derek introduced “Kicking Gas,” a Whidbey Island-based climate justice organization working to help electrify homes and improve the health of our communities by increasing affordability and awareness of the health and environmental impacts of fossil fuel combustion and usage. Derek’s talk was moving, informative, and surprising.
