On Sunday the Force U10 Girls took to the road again, this time heading to Mt Pleasant to play the top-ranked team in the league. While the girls started off by going down a goal early, their maturity and patience were on full display as they fought back and overcame the deficit to win 4-1 and climb to the top of the league table.

The experience of these girls is really showing through as the goals they’re scoring are truly coming from team efforts (including a goal today that capped off a series of 7 uninterrupted passes).

Keep on keeping on girls.

The Force U10 Girls team traveled to Flint on Saturday and came ready to compete. They followed up their last league game (a 9-0 win) with another dominant performance, earning an 8-1 victory this time.

The world better watch out because these girls are hungry. Keep battling girls, and good luck in your game on Sunday!

Another beautiful fall night, and another shutout win (their 4th in their last 5 games) by our Force U11 Girls team. And if you need any evidence that the team is getting better every single game, look no further than the fact that with each new win, they’re scoring 1 more goal than the previous win.

But these girls are doing great things on the field and forming great friendships off the field. Congrats again girls, let’s keep pushing and try to improve even more with our next game.

Our Force U11 Girls team made the trip north to Traverse City on Sunday and came home with their 3rd shutout win in their last 4 games. In addition to their strong defensive performances lately, the girls have done a great job of working for each other and spreading out the scoring, with goals from 5 different players in those wins.

Congrats girls, and keep up the hard work!

FSC 2014/15 Girls Green went undefeated in bracket play at the Lightning Cup Tournament. They defeated Liverpool IA FC ECNL 2013/14 with a 2-0 win, Eastside FC 4-0, and Mi. Jags Rochester Romeo 4-0 clean sheet in bracket play. Despite their strong performance, the girls feel short in a hard fought Championship Game 3-4 to the Nationals Macomb ECNL. I am incredibly proud of the team’s continued growth. Travel Season lets go!!
