SEXUAL IMMORALITY IS A SIN

Since 1 Corinthians 7:2 clearly includes s*x before marriage in the definition of s*xual immorality, all of the Bible verses that condemn s*xual immorality as being sinful also condemn s*x before marriage as sinful. S*x before marriage is included in the biblical definition of s*xual immorality. There are numerous Scriptures that declare s*x before marriage to be a sin (Acts 15:20; 1 Corinthians 5:1; 6:13, 18; 10:8; 2 Corinthians 12:21; Galatians 5:19; Ephesians 5:3; Colossians 3:5; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Jude 7). The Bible promotes complete abstinence before marriage. S*x between a husband and his wife is the only form of s*xual relations of which God approves (Hebrews 13:4).

Far too often we focus on the “recreation” aspect of s*x without recognizing that there is another aspect—procreation. S*x within marriage is pleasurable, and God designed it that way. God wants men and women to enjoy s*xual activity within the confines of marriage. Song of Solomon and several other Bible passages (such as Proverbs 5:19) clearly describe the pleasure of s*x. However, the couple must understand that God’s intent for s*x includes producing children. Thus, for a couple to engage in s*x before marriage is doubly wrong—they are enjoying pleasures not intended for them, and they are taking a chance of creating a human life outside of the family structure God intended for every child.

While practicality does not determine right from wrong, if the Bible's message on s*x before marriage were obeyed, there would be far fewer s*xually transmitted diseases, far fewer abortions, far fewer u***d mothers and unwanted pregnancies, and far fewer children growing up without both parents in their lives. Abstinence is God’s only policy when it comes to s*x before marriage. Abstinence saves lives, protects babies, gives s*xual relations the proper value, and, most importantly, honors God.

PRIDE IS A SIN

PRIDE is not a respecter of persons. It can cause anyone to fall and be destroyed who does not master it and demand of themself the attitude of true greatness and strength, which is true humility of heart. True humility is a condition of the heart toward God and others, and not merely an external façade.
PRIDE is an attitude that is displayed by various characteristics, such as independence (which seeks to do things alone, without the assistance of God or others), ingratitude, arrogance, haughtiness, intolerance of others, heady, high-mindedness, lack of concern for the welfare of others and unteachability.
Outside the boundary of God’s Word, you are in bo***ge! You can be in bo***ge to yourself. You can be full of yourself. This is pride! God’s Word is the truth that sets us free (see John 8:32).
A prideful person is an arrogant person who feels superior and speaks down to others. The truly humble person never looks down on people and aims to see people as the Father sees them.
Perhaps one of the greatest characteristics of the proud is that of an unteachable spirit. The ability to be and remain teachable is a mark of the humble soul. To be teachable means we listen with the intention of gaining wisdom and knowledge and then practice that which we are taught.
The Father has set up the body of Christ in such a way that makes us dependent not only on Him, but also upon one another (see 1 Cor. 12:13-25). God has called, anointed and empowered every one of His holy people so we can learn from one another and grow into perfection in Christ Jesus. This will not happen unless we see our need for one another. I need you and you need me in Christ Jesus.
The proud do not acknowledge this. They think that they are always right and believe they know everything. Sadly, there are those in the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ who are of this mindset. But, this kind of attitude is wrong. PRIDE IS EVIL! We need God, and we need one another. If we want to live a passionate life for Christ we must accept this truth and eradicate pride from our lives.

BAD LANGUAGE IS A SIN

God asks us to rid ourselves of foul language. Colossians 3:8 says, “But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these; anger, rage, malice, slander, and FILTHY LANGUAGE FROM YOUR LIPS.”

“Dirty stories, foul talk and coarse jokes—these are not for you. Instead, remind each other of God’s goodness and be thankful!”

The Ten Commandments forbid the misuse of God’s name. Exodus 20:7 says, “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will NOT HOLD ANYONE GUILTLESS who misuses his name.”

Our words affect our lives. “He who guards his lips guards his life, but he who speaks rashly will come to ruin.”

God will hold us responsible for the words we speak. Matthew 12:36-37 says, that “men will have to give account on the day of judgment, for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

The words we use influence others. 1 Timothy 4:12 reminds us that we should not let anyone look down on us because we are young, but should set an EXAMPLE FOR THE BELIEVERS IN SPEECH, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.”

A FATHER'S BLESSING, by John Paul Jackson

Some of you did not have great father figures.
Some of you had fathers who passed away before they could give you a blessing. Others of you, for one reason or another, are unable to receive a blessing from your father. To you and in honor of Father's Day, I offer the blessings of the Heavenly Father through myself, an earthly father.

This type of blessing is seen in Numbers 6.
It goes on to say that upon blessing the people, God would place His name and BLESS THOSE WHO HEARD IT. THAT MEANS YOU! HEAR IT. GOD IS SPEAKING DIRECTLY TO YOU!!

Therefore, may the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. And from me, from my heart, as a father and a grandfather, I’d like to bless you in this way:
May you reach the purpose for which you were created.
May you have courage above your peers.
May you have more passion for the things of God than others think is necessary.
May you dream more than others think is practical.
May you expect more than others think is possible.
May you choose wisely without earthly bias.
You have people to influence that you have not yet met.
You have lives to change that are waiting for your arrival.
You are strategically placed, wherever God takes you by His grand design, just so you can become everything He made you to be.

That place is the place you can grow best.
That place is the place where you can be the most fruitful.
The place where the future is changed because of your presence.
May you see vistas that others don’t even know exist.
May you see God, and every petal of every flower and every blade of grass; for each of them are designed by His hand.
May you bless your children and may they become giants in the faith under the mighty hand of God. YOU WON'T FAIL.

WORRY IS A SIN

WORRY DOES NOT ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING! It's in the Bible. Psalm 37:8 says, "Stop your anger! Turn off your wrath. DON'T FRET AND WORRY - it only leads to harm."

There is no need to worry—God has everything under control. It's in the Bible, Matthew 6:31-33 says, "So don't worry at all about having enough food and clothing. Why be like the heathen? For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them. But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, and He will give them to you IF YOU GIVE HIM FIRST PLACE IN YOUR LIFE AND LIVE AS HE WANTS YOU TO".

We cannot remove worry until we replace it with something better—PRAYER. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don't forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this YOU WILL EXPERIENCE GOD'S PEACE, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus."

In Luke 12:25-26 it says that worrying is a waste of time. "And besides, what's the use of worrying? What good does it do? Will it add a single day to your life? Of course not! And if worry can't even do such little things as that, what's the use of worrying over bigger things?"

Give all your worries to the Lord. I Peter 5:7 says, "Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you."

PLACE YOUR WORRY AT THE FEET OF JESUS!!!

WHAT IS SIN

A sin is any thought or action that falls short of God’s will. God is perfect, and anything we do that falls short of His perfection is sin.

The Bible actually uses a number of examples or “word pictures” to illustrate what this means. For example, it tells us that sin is like an archer who misses the target. He draws back his bow and sends the arrow on its way—but instead of hitting the bull’s-eye, it veers off course and misses the mark. The arrow may only miss it a little bit or it may miss it a great deal—but the result is the same: The arrow doesn’t land where it is supposed to.

The same is true of sin. God’s will is like the center of that target—and when we sin, we fall short of His will or miss the mark. And this is something we do every day; as the Bible says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Even when we aren’t aware of it, we commit sin by the things we do (or fail to do), or by the way we think.

This is why we need Christ, for only HE can forgive us all our sins, and ONLY HE CAN HELP US LIVE THE WAY WE SHOULD. We can’t forgive ourselves, nor can we change our hearts and make ourselves better in God’s eyes.

A PLAN FOR HEALING AND FREEDOM

1. PLEAD the Blood of Jesus over you and your family daily.
2. Put a hedge of protection around you and your family daily.
3. Put on the full ARMOR OF GOD - Ephesians 6.
4. GIVE CHARGE to God's angels to surround you and keep you in all of your ways.
5. READ AND PRAY Psalm 91 and Psalm 103:1-5 aloud every day and confess that He has already healed your diseases. Be sure to name everything you have already been healed of and thank Him for those healings.
6. BIND the principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places, in Jesus' name, from coming against you.
7. REPENT daily before the Lord in Jesus' name. Ask the Lord to help you go back through your life and show you what you need to repent of. Also, repent for your family's sin, just like Job did.
8. READ your Bible, say your prayers (including the Lord's Prayer), pray in the Spirit and Praise, Worship and Dance before the Lord.
9. PRAY for the Lord to bless your day and pray 1 Peter 3:10, that you will love life and see good days.

PRAYER TO RENOUNCE REJECTION

Lord, I command the SPIRIT OF REJECTION (when people rejected me, when my friends, parents or family rejected me) to come out of me now. I command the spirit of self-rejection to come all the way out of me and leave me now, never to return, in the name of Jesus Christ.

I receive acceptance from you, Lord. You are my Father and I know you love me. I command every demon that attacks my physical body to leave me now and to never return. I apply the blood of Jesus to it, breaking the power of ALL illness, disorder and/or infirmity and command the spirit of infirmity to come out in the name of Jesus.

I break the power of any demon that is causing problems in my life and all their kindred spirits and command them to leave. I forgive everyone that has offended me and I ask you now, to please bless them. I command every spirit that tortures me to drop away from me now and never return, in Jesus name. Including every demon that was assigned to my unforgiveness.

I command the spirit of resentment, bitterness and hatred to leave me now. I command every spirit of loneliness, depression, despair, despondency, shame, defeat and hopelessness, thoughts of death and su***de, gloom, heaviness and disgust to go now, in the name of Jesus.

I command every spirit that has occupied me when I ought to be occupying the land and command every spirit causing me to dry up in the things of God to come out. I break the power of every spirit that has tormented me and command every spirit of confusion, disorder, forgetfulness, mind binding, mind control, bipolar double-mindness, schizophrenia, senility, mental instability, madness, fear of people, fear of germs, paranoia, hallucination of the mind, dread, anxiety, phobias and persistent fear, to leave me now in the name of Jesus Christ. In its place we ask for peace, happiness and the joy of the Lord. Amen

RENOUNCE INHERITED REJECTION

In the name of Jesus, I renounce the inherited spirit of rejection that has been passed down to me by my ancestors. I forgive my ancestors for passing that spirit down to me, but I renounce it and reject it from my life.

A MOTHER'S BLESSING

In honor of Mother's Day, we would like to repost this blessing for all those that have never been blessed by their own mother AND/OR have never blessed their own children. We would suggest, as you read this, that you hear your own mother speaking this blessing over you or use the post to bless your own children.

In Jesus’ name, I CALL BLESSINGS to come into the place where your fear, rejection and abandonment reside. Fill those empty places, Lord. FILL THEM UP!!

I renounce and break every word curse I have ever spoken over you. I ask the Father to reveal every lie you have believed about yourself, about God and about others because of my failure as a mother. I BLESS YOU with truth from the heart of God and with the knowledge of who you are in Christ. I CALL YOU into your destiny.

I BLESS THE DAY YOU WERE BORN. I BLESS YOU MY CHILD, you are loved, specially created and perfect. I AM PROUD OF YOU. I honor and bless you as a person. I LOVE YOU just as you are, and I release you to be who you are – not who you have believed I wanted you to be. I BLESS YOUR DESTINY, and I BLESS YOU with strength and wisdom and understanding.

I BLESS YOU with God’s desires and grace so that you may please Him. I BLESS YOU to love and be loved. I BLESS YOU with joy and happiness and peace. I BLESS YOU to walk in your destiny. I LOVE YOU MY CHILD! I cherish you. You are God’s perfect gift to me, and I am blessed to be your mother.

I CALL FORTH every part of your personality that was not awakened or embraced in life. I CALL FORTH NOW, a new season of direction, the journey He has for you and a freedom to live and move and have your very being in Him.
