Freehold Art Exchange [FAEx] is an artist residency program for visual and interdisciplinary artists invested in social justice, environmental sustainability, and community engagement. Artists-­in­-residence live onsite for two weeks, using studio spaces and workshops in our repurposed dairy barn. In exchange, residents complete a predetermined two­-day work project on organizational development o

r barn renovations still underway. Our facility is on our co-founder's 57 acres of land in the Catskill Mountains of NY, including a vegetable garden and hiking trails.
