This is the Official page of the Freeburg Jr. Midgets Organization. Welcome to the home of the Freeburg Jr. Midgets Football.

We are a non-profit youth football organization established in 2009. We are committed to providing the youth in the Freeburg, Smithton and surrounding areas with the opportunity to learn football as well as teach the importance of sportsmanship, leadership and team play. We are members of the Southwest Illinois Youth Football Conference.

🏈 2026 Jr. Midgets Football Uniform & Pads Information 🏈

Parents, please review the uniform and pad requirements for the upcoming 2026 football season.

All football players will need to purchase practice pants. We do have a limited supply of free practice pants available at equipment pickup night.

Varsity football players will also need to purchase either a 5-pad or 7-pad girdle.

Please make sure your player has the proper equipment before practices begin. Football season gets here fast, and nobody wants to be scrambling for gear at the last minute.

Please note: Varsity players all need to attend as you will be getting fit for new game pants!
Freshman, Sophomore and JV are only required to attend if you purchased a new jersey for the season!

The countdown to the 2026 season is on, and it’s time to get our cheerleaders fitted for their uniforms! 🎉📣

✨ Uniform Fitting Dates
📅 June 17th | 6:00–8:00 PM
📅 June 20th | 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Fittings will be held at the CWV field, under the pavilion; 3535 State Route 159, Freeburg, IL

Can’t make either fitting date? No worries! If you’ve purchased a uniform for the 2026 season, please reach out to Kristy to schedule a private fitting.

🏈Freeburg Jr. Midgets Football needs your help!

🏈We are currently looking for Sophomore players, ages 8 and 9, to join the Freeburg Jr. Midgets Football Team.

🏈We are also in need of a Head Coach and Assistant Coaches. If we do not meet the required number of players and secure a head coach, we will not be able to have a team this season.

🏈This is a great opportunity for kids to learn the game, build confidence, be part of a team, and represent Freeburg football the right way.
