Happy summer vacation everyone!

This summer, we’re inviting friends to come visit our school garden to w**d water and harvest what is ready.

You do not need to enter the school, rather park in either the HS or ES lot and walk to our area as shown by the red dot on the map.

Inside the shed is a short list of instructions for your visit.

Our last 2025-2026 Tasting is in the books!

For this month, we highlighted a unique food harvested yesterday morning from our school garden, Garlic Scapes!

We processed them with our homegrown basil, walnuts, Parmesan cheese, olive oil and lemon juice to make a delicious and mild pesto we served up to third graders with pasta.

Proud of all the students who tried a new, local, and healthy food!

What a busy and awesome day.
We started with harvesting kale from our hydroponic towers for smoothies for our May tasting in the high school! The wonderful student services staff hosted a self care fair and we brought some healthy food. They were quite the hit!
This afternoon we filled the courtyard with plants, seeds, students and staff. Feeling grateful for the opportunity to share as much as we did and hope everybody enjoys their goodies! One of our own members even brought three climbing roses to beautify our space!
Just a few tomatoes, peppers, and another miscellaneous plants left over that we will put on a free table in the high school next week.

Hope to see you this afternoon! We’ve got loads of plants to share!

Our local & seasonal food April tasting was a huge hit with high school students and third graders alike! Thank you for the delicious spinach Wendell Lee Wagner Maggitti for our green smoothies. We blended it along with some frozen fruit, yogurt, orange juice, and a little local raw honey for a healthy treat!

From taps to tastings! 🍁
For the past month, our own backyard has been the hub of a massive cross-curricular project. We’ve hosted students from high school science and digital media courses to our enthusiastic fourth graders and ENL club to share the magic of sap collection.

On a picture-perfect sunny Monday, we boiled down our haul and finished with almost two gallons of liquid gold! We’ve spent the last few days celebrating—first with a pancake feast in Mrs. T’s room, and today by serving up homemade syrup with sheet pan pancakes for the third-grade lunch tasting. Nothing beats the taste of hard work! 🥞✨
