Fredonia Arts Council We are a non-profit community arts organization dedicated to encouraging and promoting knowledge and appreciation of, and participation in, the arts.

It is the purpose of the council to aid, encourage, advise, and correlate all activities dedicated to the promotion of the cultural arts in Fredonia and neighboring communities. The arts & cultural opportunities the Fredonia Arts Council provides have been enriching our community since 1967. Fredonia Arts Council offices are located at 320 N 7th in the Stone House Gallery. Built in 1872, the Stone

House is the oldest remaining house in Fredonia and is a State of Kansas Historic site. Check out the Fredonia Trail of Art page. You will find a list of sculptures, murals, and barn quilt blocks in Fredonia and maps of the locations.

Let's Celebrate the Arts come rain or shine! Come enjoy the BBQ by Terry Chism, music by John Edens, Mike Jeffers, & Brenda Clark. Enjoy the Tie-Dye Fashion show, performance by Maisy Shinkle, giving a sneak peak of the Summer Theater production, Matilda. We will also be recognized our Mural Academy Award winners.
