Happy Veterans Day to all those who have and continue to serve to keep us safe. Especially, our founder and fearless leader, Josh, an Air Force Veteran who currently serves in the Air National Guard.

Veterans and First Responders are invited to join Josh this Friday as he participates in Habitat for Humanity Buffalo's Veterans Build Day!

When he's not peddling to raise money for cancer research, he's building homes for people who need them! Recently, Josh has begun volunteering with Habitat for Humanity Buffalo on their Veterans Build Days to help build safe houses. We love that he's consistently giving his time in such meaningful ways. Although not the longest day, today was definitely the hardest! 85 miles battling the head on wind. The teamwork got us through!

Utica to Weedsport. Wrapped up the evening with an amazing presentation from CEO & President of Roswell Park; Dr Candace Johnson.

Two more days and we will reach Niagara Falls!!!

Day 4 - we completed a very difficult 100 mile journey from Albany to Utica.

Started the day riding our 1st mile in silence honoring and remembering those we are riding for.

Day 3 of the Empire State Ride is complete and Josh is getting ready for a 100 mile ride tomorrow to complete Day 4! This is the point of the ride for many riders where the soreness kicks in, and you have to have a positive mindset. Some of Josh's family sent in words of encouragement to get him through the rest of the week! Josh has a very special helmet with him on his ride this week. The helmet has the names of businesses that helped sponsor his ride, either through a monetary donation or an item that was used in a raffle, and the names of people he is riding for. Empire State Ride DAY TWO, rode 100 miles as we landed at camp in Rinebeck. We all ride for many reasons. However today I rode for my dear friend Annemarie Johnston

Anne has Stage 3 , ovarian metastatic. She continues to be one of the strongest people I know as I received this exact text from here moments ago: “I’m gonna fight with everything I got 💪”.

Some of you have asked what we do for the day after we are done riding. Tonight Dr. Joyce Ohm - who heads up research and development at Rosewell Park Cancer Institute spoke on how much of an amazing impact monies from Empire State Ride help patients on a daily basis.

Wonderful presentation, humble to be in the room to hear her presentation.

Shortly I’ll be headed to bed and preparing for tomorrows ride!
