Clydesdale Youth All-Around Program to showcase the achievements of the youth in the clydes industry.

Youth All-Around Program member profile of Bella Ulanoski.

Bella has had the privilege of showing with her trainer, Leah (Cedar Creek Drafts), for the past several years, and she has loved and been grateful for every minute of it. Some of her favorite memories have come from the Feathered Show in Shipshewana, specifically the barrel racing, where winning does not matter and everyone comes together to have fun. She even dress up and wore a tutu just to be silly. Those kinds of memories will be the ones she will remember and cherish forever. Bella has gained a great deal of love for the Clydesdale community, and she is grateful to be a part of it, as there is truly none better. To the youth involved or thinking about getting involved, go all in, make memories, and have fun.

In 2025, Bella was the champion for the Youth All-Around Non-show and placed third in show.

Youth All-Around Program member profile of Clara Bley (Trout).

One of Clara’s most memorable moments showing a Clydesdale was when she got her first blue ribbon. She was showing in the mother daughter cart class at the Feathered Show in Shipshewana, IN. She can’t thank Angie Borck for this opportunity to showing a Clydesdale. Angie is her Ohio “Show Mom.” They were both so ecstatic about winning the blue ribbon. Driving Ozzy on that victory lap was exciting for all of us. Ozzy was ready to go for that victory lap! It was a great day for all of them! They made for a great team and memory. Clara is ready and can’t wait till her next show with Angie and Ozzy!

Youth All-Around Program member profile of Lillian Wasson.

Lillian began showing Clydesdales at just 7 years old, and they’ve since become a huge part of her life. This year marks Lillian’s fourth year competing in the Youth All-Around Program with the Clydesdale Breeders of the USA.

Among her most memorable accomplishments are her performances at the 2025 World Show, where she earned one World Championship title along with nine Top Ten finishes. She also captured the 2025 Youth Junior Cart Championship at the Michigan Great Lakes International.

Outside of the draft horse arena, Lillian enjoys showcasing her versatility by taking her Clydesdales to Hunter Jumper shows and spending time trail riding along the beautiful Michigan shoreline.

Congratulations to Allison Kobernick, who placed 1st in Sr. Show, and Bella Ulanoski, who placed 1st in Sr. Non-show and 3rd in Sr. Show. Neither of them was able to attend the banquet to receive their awards. Allison's mother, Christy Kobernick, accepted her award on her behalf, and Leah Popp, Bella's trainer, accepted her award on her behalf.

Congratulations to Danika Drost on placing third in the Jr. Show. Danika received her award from board member Katie Bauer at the National Clydesdale Sale Banquet.

We’re excited to share some great news – our Youth Membership is now completely free.

This opportunity has been made possible thanks to the generous support of Mark Martin, who stepped forward to sponsor the $25 youth membership fee. His commitment to supporting youth involvement and growth in our program is truly appreciated, and we’re grateful for his investment in the future of our industry.

To clarify the youth membership is open to all ages. At this time, the youth all-around program is only open to Jr. and Sr. age brackets.
