THANK YOU
Thanking and being grateful for our veterans that served and sacrificed for America should never go out of vogue.
They were willing to answer the call to defend us against enemies, domestic and foreign. They gave up their personal freedom to defend the freedom and liberty of all Americans.
They are the best of us. They are the very DNA of America. They did not request war but when it was requested of them to join up, they signed their name on the dotted line.
Their signature was an agreement to do whatever was necessary, including death. It was a passionate and dedicated commitment to God and country, solemnly forged with their own blood, in many cases.
I am proud of the many generations in my family that served this great nation going back to the conception of the United States, in Benjamin Franklin as a signer of the constitution.
My oldest son, Tom E. Jr. gave 25+ proud and honorable years to the USAF. My second son Jason E. served in cyber security, in a civilian role embedded within the military for years. To my dad Don N, that served during the Korean war conflict, stateside. My many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. My grandparents and great grandparents. I am so proud and thankful for their combined service to this great republic called America.
Saying thank you is never enough, but it’s a start.
THANK YOU❤️🇺🇸
