Expressing my sorrow and gratitude seems deeply inadequate for these eight USAF service members that gave their lives in service and sacrifice to this country. I pray we can honor their lives by remembering the values they died believing.

Heroes often die quietly amidst the ordinary.

They sacrificed everything so that I could sit on my front porch drinking coffee, reading my Bible, knitting, and picking vegetables from my front porch garden.
