Today, a major step forward for heart health: Damar Hamlin’s ‘Heart Act’ has officially passed the Senate, bringing critical changes to public safety by increasing access to defibrillators, expanding bystander training, and raising awareness about sudden cardiac arrest.

At Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation, we work tirelessly to provide life-saving AEDs to schools, gyms, and public spaces, ensuring that more people have the tools to act when every second counts. This legislation is a huge win in our ongoing mission to make heart health a priority and save lives.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Connor Kasin, a 17-year-old senior from Massapequa High School. Our hearts go out to Connor's family, friends, and the entire community during this heartbreaking time.

At Gwyneth's Gift Foundation, our mission is to raise awareness about the importance of CPR and the life-saving impact of AEDs. We are reminded by this tragic loss of how vital it is to be prepared in emergencies, and we remain committed to educating others and placing AEDs in public spaces to help save lives.
