One conversation can save a life. 💛 The MindWise Signs of Suicide® Program gives students and parents the tools to recognize when someone may be struggling, respond with compassion, and seek help from someone they trust. By promoting awareness, reducing stigma, and encouraging early intervention, SOS helps build a culture where no one has to face challenges alone.

Learn more and register yourself and your high school student at the following link: https://mhafred.org/2026-ymhc/

If you are interested in attending but do not have a student that will also attend, please call us at (540) 371 - 2704. We will make arrangements for you to join us.

This morning, the MHAfred team had the pleasure of meeting Loretta Gulley - an active member of the American Legion Post 320 and WoVeN, the Women’s Veteran Network. It was wonderful to hear how the action of just one individual can have a profound impact on the community! Loretta, thank you for sharing so much with us today. To the American Legion Post 320, we appreciate your generous donation of $1,500. We sincerely look forward to building a strong relationship that benefits veterans throughout the region!
