Gia is healed, she’s ready, and she’s still waiting for her forever family!!
Sweet Gia has been through quite a journey, and now that she's made it through her CCL surgery and recovery, she's ready for the next chapter of her life.
But there's just one thing missing...
A FAMILY OF HER VERY OWN.
Gia has done the hard part. She's been through surgery, worked her way through recovery, and come out the other side ready to enjoy all the wonderful things life has to offer. Now, she deserves to spend her days doing what every beloved dog should get to do — soaking up the sunshine, going on adventures, snuggling with her favorite humans, and falling asleep knowing she's HOME.
Yet, somehow, Gia is still waiting for someone to choose her.
We wish we could tell her that her family is just around the corner. That someone is looking for a girl exactly like her. That one day soon, she'll walk through a front door and never have to wonder where she belongs again.
But it’s coming up on a year. And she’s a senior dog, which we know makes it harder for her to get interest. Until that day comes, we're going to keep sharing her story. Because Gia isn't just a dog who's recovered from surgery. She's a loving, smart, playful girl with so much life ahead of her and so much love left to give. She deserves a chance to be someone's whole world.
SO, LET'S TALK ABOUT HOW WONDERFUL GIA IS!
Her fosters says she's one of the easiest fosters ever, and she has excellent house manners!
She's a smart girl who knows her basic commands, is crate-trained, and will happily offer her paw for a treat.
She's an excellent travel companion who loves car rides and outdoor adventures.
She enjoys energetic walks, playing with toys, and finding a sunny spot to relax.
She's affectionate, bonds quickly with people, and is ready to be someone's very best friend.
She's dog-friendly and enjoys seeing canine friends on her walks.
Gia's ideal home: An adults-only home or one with children over 12 (who respect her boundaries) is preferred. lShe'll thrive with an understanding adopter who can give her the love, consistency, and safe environment she deserves.
Gia has made it through surgery. She's made it through recovery. Now, we want her to experience the joy of finally being someone's girl.
The family who adopts Gia won't just be giving a dog a home. They'll be giving a deserving soul the happy ending she's been waiting for — a place to belong, people to love, and a future filled with all the little things that make life beautiful.
